Since we have already discussed Adobe Flash, I will now let you in on a little secret. Now its like a secret code,it was Gerblish for me in the beginning,but soon discovered that if you have a little bit of JavaScript experience,the ride should be a lot smoother.

A background in Javascript really does help for ActionScript, I agree with you. It is very similar except for some small details.
